Some reception pupils were invited to a Qualitas team event at Graves Leisure, twenty children took part in team building games . They had to cross a river full of crocodiles using their lilly pads as a team.
Onto a trust game where one child wore a blindfold and the other gave instructions to move around objects to travel across the floor , this was great fun.
Next children had to work in pairs back to back to stand up, this was hard to achieve as strength and teamwork was needed, but practice made perfect and they did it .
Then the fun began working in teams of four to move a hoop around the circle of children without letting go of hands ....Mrs Bellamy even joined in .
The afternoon was great fun and our children did us proud ,listening and taking part working as a team and showing how the youngest children there were a credit to St Thomas of Canterbury .
